Like the seeds of evergreen, we grow and reach so high Looking for a way through to make sense of this life We’re nurtured by the water and guided by the sun Our freedom based on where we are and to what we belong Like the seeds of evergreen, we’re searching for a life line Like the seeds of evergreen, our beauty lies within Waiting for a life line to begin The wind touches us so briefly as we dance on and on While the light shines through our eyes, within this passing time Like the seeds of evergreen, we’re searching for a life line Within our daily callings, the seasons come and go We are spread across the lands so far Where both the week and the strong call home We’re nurtured by the water and guided by the sun From the earth we came and will return Like the seeds of evergreen

The Circle 04:49
Run if you can, to catch up to your spirit Follow the road as it leads you round the corner Can you hear your name as it calls out to you Can you make out the words as your listening to your story We fall down, stand up Learn to make your way and then accept it The sun rises, the sun sets as the circle goes Your life will follow it The house where I lived, is filled with faces and memories Though the paint is fading I still hear the life in the hallways My sister and my brother, my mother and my father How we chose each other to walk along and share this journey We fall down, stand up Learn to make your way and then accept it The sun rises, the sun sets as the circle goes Your life will follow it Sitting in my dad’s car as I watch the train go by With the passing of time all the dreams and the hopes that it carries Funny how your life goes Like this train rolling on, down the track until you can’t see it. We fall down, stand up Learn to make your way and then accept it The sun rises, the sun sets as the circle goes Your life will follow it

It’s amazing we’re still here Look at how we keep evolving This spinning world goes round and round despite us Each generation fails to understand this These are the days we are living Life and death go hand and hand There is no God that doesn’t know this Cause when the time comes it’s just a leap of faith That we’ll walk through light into something marvellous These are the days we are living You can’t run and hide, you’ve got to face all of life’s surprises No matter who you are or what you’ve gained the road outside is all the same Walk with joy and laughter, with joy and laughter I wish there was a simple secret That we could share and learn to get along With the meaning of life and all its wonders Passed along from child to child These are the days we are living

I sat alone by the fire, quietly Helps me feel the world around me, breathlessly Lived a long time in the city, almost forgot who I was Like so many who are searching, endlessly Forward Motion keeps on moving Carrying us along into the future The clock keeps ticking While the fire burns out slow People are tired, people are worried Cause these days their money doesn’t go so far Working hard for a living isn’t what it used to be Forward Motion keeps on moving Carrying us along into the future The clock keeps ticking While the fire burns out slow Can’t give up to the darkness Waiting behind the door Walk your path with kindness before you go too far

Living in America used to be a dream. For so many people far away and unseen. With those big cars, movie stars, Living in America, now all hail to the red, white and blue, Living in America used to be a dream. Now in this land, they tell you to reach for anything you want. Because everything is possible, just believe that you can. Cause we’re god’s chosen children, Living in America, in that long house, white picket fences, Living in America used to be a dream. Now they believe that their saviour has come, to deliver all their people back to the kingdom Better not try to stop us or get in our way, because we have what it takes to change the world again. Now our little brother, our queen and country follow us everywhere. Cause they’ve lost their voice, they’ve lost their way and feel safe in our shadow. Now it’s all gone, the glory days, Living in America In that high rise, with those jumbo fries Living in America

La La Song 04:09
Can’t write simple songs anymore, the world around us has got so complicated Filled our heads with so many numbers, we live our lives like remote controls Soon they’ll be no place left to buy any records, where you can hold it and feel it in your hands or read a story in a hard back book cover, late into the evening by the table light Bring back the songs we can sing to, while we dance close and hold the one you love Bring back a world of understanding, so we can all feel whole again Singing La La La I wonder if this future we’ve been building, is the one we’ve been waiting for Can we live with all of our choices, while we watch our young ones try to make their way. Can we keep living with all this separation, between our hearts, our souls and our minds While we listen to all of our leaders as they keep on pedalling those same old lies. Bring back the songs we can sing to, while we dance close and hold the one you love Bring back a world of understanding, so we can all feel whole again Singing La La La Remember when all of the family, came Saturday night and we sat around the tv. Took a walk on the Virginia Blue mountains, what a simple way. Bring back the songs we can sing to, while we dance close and hold the one you love Bring back a world of understanding, so we can all feel whole again Singing La La La

How Long 05:13
Another plane flies across the water Coming home again lie it has so many times before Carrying more wooden boxes covered in a cloth of what a nation believes How many more souls will we have to bury Underneath the guise of freedom Where some girls are still not allowed to learn And others not allowed to pray How long will we keep going on like this A man’s word used to be his honour Meant more than just the paper it was written on But today so many lies have been told and promise’s broken While the peoples back bend like a cypress in a cold wind How long will we keep going on like this Our freedom comes with a price to pay Look at all the mothers crying God it makes me angry, when I see people throw it away While they’re so many young still dying Why does it take so long to listen? And keep our eyes open so we can all learn to see That our hearts feel the same and beat in one motion No colour in mind, hand and hand, woman and man After all don’t we wake up in the morning? Turn the page and get ready to face the day Should be no one, nowhere to stop someone from dreaming Keep their hopes alive or let them say what they want to say

Sisters 03:08

about

The themes are touching in their purity and convey a sense of honesty and vulnerability that draws the listener in from the start. Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Domenic defies any easy label. The collection of songs stir in their own sensibilities and haunting melodies, crossing between contemporary acoustic folk, touches of roots and world music, and even his flavour of country and jazz. His wealth of musical styles and smooth and expressive voice are all skillfully blended into a seamless flow of music from the heart that absorbs the listener entirely into the narratives of each piece.
